Residing on a rooftop that enjoys views across the Arabian gulf seas and Dubai’s Palm, Hi-Five is the city’s latest restaurant, lounge and bar set to tantalize Dubai’s’ discerning dinners. Nestled in Internet City, Hi-Five enjoys the buzz of the city lights, making it a perfect spot to sip on sundowners with friends on either of the two rooftop terraces.

Sprawling over 7000 square meters, Hi Five boasts a dedicated bar and lounge area with cozy booth and barstool seating, as well as a formal dining space and two terraces. Furnished impeccably with soft leather and earthy wood accents, Hi-Five is the ultimate spot to unwind in whilst sampling the eclectic menu accompanied by a glass or two.



Me and my friend caught up last Friday at HiFive lounge and we had a terrific time. Hifive had a sunset brunch on that night and we were in for a pleasant treat. At AED 199 we indulged in a three course menu on their sprawling sunset terrace with house beverages and their signature shisha.

The sunset brunch is from 7pm - 10pm and starts off with delectable and finger licking good nachos, to croquettes and then guests can enjoy from their selection of main courses. Guests can choose between fish, chicken or beef. Desserts on offer are ice cream and banana split. Arguably one of the best banana split i have tried so far.

The shisha too was different from anything we ever tried before in Dubai. The manager claimed that they have one of the best shisha in town and I couldn't disagree.

This friday sunset brunch is highly recommended.

Zou Zou at La Mer, Dubai

After my recent visit to Gunaydin – which in my opinion is the best Turkish restaurant in Dubai, my expectations from any Turkish restaurants have risen to all time high. When I got invited from Zou Zou – the Turkish Lebanese restaurant at La Mer, I was all in for it, to try and compare. I visited Zou Zou last week with a very dear friend who is also a big foodie like me and a lover of all things Turkish. So needless to say, we went there with lots of expectations and a hungry tummy of course. I must mention that Zou Zou didn’t disappoint. First off I have to remark about the service. It was pleasant, warm and quick.
