Layali Tent at Roda Al Murooj - Arabesque surroundings and great food

Savour an Arabic Iftar at Layali Al Murooj Tent set amidst the lush garden of Roda Al Murooj, surrounded by palm trees and a water lagoon.  This cozy Ramadan tent is the perfect location to unwind this season, with great food, never-tried-before shisha flavours, beverages and live music played by a traditional oud player. The Layali Tent - Ambiance The tent is decorated with all the trimmings of Ramadan, lovely lanterns, gorgeous ramadan props, traditional water urns, pretty carpets - the works!   Every single direction I pointed the camera to, resulted in very pleasing images. Over all the ambiance looks so festive, cozy and relaxing.   It is probably one of the prettiest Ramadan tents I've  been to, this year. Food   Unlike the usual iftar buffets where there is a lot of binge eating and food wastage, the Layali tent offered a A La Carte menu complete with all the special Ramadan treats along with regular regional specialties. Malabari Cuisine at its best at Skillet Restaurant, Deira Dubai

If you're a fan of  #Malabari  Cuisine then there's a nice new restaurant in Deira (Al Wasl District,near fish roundabout) serving very authentic North  #Kerala  cuisine. Their menu also includes few North Indian and Chinese dishes and they are good at it. The place is run by a young Indian couple who are passionate about the food business. They have everything from Zafran Chai to South Indian breakfast, Pancake, Nutella Crepe, to more traditional Porridge and Tapioca, Pothichor, Banana leaf meals. Their seafood and meat selection have decent, if not extensive options. They have a nice selection of Chinese dishes too like Schezuan Chicken Noodles, Hakka Noodles and Chicken Nazi Goreng Rice (which is originally Indonesian) but classified under Chinese dishes on the menu :))  What we ate : We had Haryali Tikka, Chicken Lolipop, in starters.
