With a dining area spread over two levels and a spacious outdoor terrace, where some fine culinary theatrics happen every evening, the place has become extremely popular among die hard steak lovers and shisha lovers. We visited on a Thursday evening and spent over 4 hours there, enjoying some of the best of Turkish cuisine, piping hot cups of Turkish coffee and flavorful shisha. We couldn’t have wished to spend a long and cold Thursday evening anywhere else, but here. Established by a young man who set up and managed some of the best known Turkish restaurants in the city, you can expect that his new concept would be every bit fabulous and perfect.  And fabulous it definitely is – righ

Tantalizing food worth craving for at Crave Shack

Image
Blogliterati.com team visited Crave Shack recently during a visit to Spring Souk Mall. The place looked very relaxing with interesting props, relaxed seating, creative lighting and slick décor. We started off with Crabstick salad with wasabi mayo. It was loaded with Avacado and tasted garden fresh. The Crabstick salad was a great way to start the crave-worthy meal at Crave Shack. In the starters we went for Dynamite shrimps. Crispy panko coated shrimp tossed in dynamite sauce tantalized the tastebuds and made us crave for the main dish. For the mains we ordered  Crave shack canton noodle and  SeaFood Paella. The Seafood paellaour signature paella was delicious and rich with fresh seafood and vegetables cooked in spanish authentic bomba rice with seafood stock.   This place is highly recommended for Seafood Paella. It is one of the best I’ve tasted.   Crave shack canton noodles came with mixed bell peppers, carrots baby corn and snow peas. It was

Al Mandaloun - Review

Image
Visited this fabulous  #Lebanese  restaurant called  @mandaloundifc  with my foodie friend  @surenrajamohan . Situated in the gate village with a seating capacity of over 400 pax, Mandaloun is the first ever lebanese restaurant in Gate village and most popular one. We started with all the usual in Middle Eastern mezze including hommous, tabbouleh, chicken liver and needles to say, a basket of hot homemade bread. The mezze were reasonably good. Personal fave for both of us was the hot mezze - the liver. In the mains we ordered a mixed seafood platter and shared. The platter came with salmon, seabass, prawns and saffron rice along with grilled carrot and broccoli. The cost was AED 269 for the platter. The quality was good, quantity was just OK for two people to share. We finished it off with desserts. In desserts we had Ghazal Beirut - a dessert of ice cream wrapped around with candy floss and Ice cream Kunafa. Both the desserts are a creative idea but exe

The food we tried We started off with some peppy juices. In starters we were served Hummus Zefki, Moutabbal Zefki, Tabboule, Pacanga Borge, Zefki Felafel. The cold mezze - Hummus and moutabbal were remarkable and distinct not only in taste but also in looks. It were multi-coloured, flavoursome and fresh. We also enjoyed the sujouk (oriental style spicy lamb sausage) and shish barak cooked in yoghurt and topped with sauteed nuts. Both tasted amazing . In the main course we had mixed grill which was sufficient for two of us. We ended with some tantalizing desserts - rice pudding and Oumali. Both very good.

Guilt free dining at Tribeca

Tribeca is an urban New York-themed restaurant, bar, and social hub in JBR. Located at the JA Ocean View Hotel, it’s known for its culturally diverse organic food and drinks, served with a side of addictive beats and local art. Featuring spacious indoor and outdoor seating and a weekly social calendar packed with cool concepts, Tribeca is the ideal destination for Dubai’s party animals. Last Thursday I had an opportunity to visit Tribeca for a review and me and my dining companion had a wonderful time there. We started off with some beers to set the tone for the weekend and we sided that with finger licking good Tribeca Nachos. The home-made nachos good enough for two had corn tortilla chips, loaded with luscious angus Bolognese, red & white cheddar, jalapeños, black olives, sour cream & organic guacamole. It kicked off an eating frenzy from the time it hit the table. In the mains I ordered Organic salmon Steak while my dining partner went for Orga
