Christmas Treats at Entre Nous

Novotel & ibis World Trade Centre and ibis One Central organized an exceptional Festive Tree Lighting event for Children with Determination on the evening of 15th December 2019.

The aim of this event was to spread the cheer of the Festive spirit among the beloved students from the Special Needs Future Development Centre who were joined by the hotel's media partners and influencers from UAE. The event took place at Entre-Nous Restaurant in Novotel World Trade Centre so the guests could take advantage of the bright and welcoming space of the all-day dining restaurant. The hotel had planned an exciting line-up of entertainment in participation with some of the leading brands in Dubai. The team from Pure Magic and Brandster assisted the hotel in creating the remarkable ambiance for the event.

The evening started with a luscious Festive themed dinner with an extensive menu created by the Executive Chef Jean Ballouz and his team. The dining experience was even more memorable as the guests also enjoyed fresh and healthy snack boxes from Kibsons International and delectable premium ice creams from Quanta. While the parents enjoyed the sumptuous buffet, the little ones were entertained with an astonishing magic show, balloon art, face painting and crafts led by Babyshop.

The hotel partners from Air France-KLM greeted the guests for the evening followed by Anoop Dhondoo, the Hotel Manager for Ibis World Trade Centre and Ibis One Central who welcomed the crowd and beloved sponsors for being a part of the special night. We then witnessed the much awaited countdown to the Christmas tree lighting ceremony which was followed by the spectacular entrance of Santa Clause and the talented hotel team who sang and danced with the guests. Globo, the colourful mascot of Global Village amazed all the guests and children with a wonderful performance followed by their 'Around The World' flash mob which energized the crowd who danced with the team. 

Exciting prizes such as toys from Air France–KLM, hampers from Kibsons International, family packs from Global Village, hotel stay vouchers and dining vouchers, were awarded to the lucky winners of games and a raffle. The guests received a surprise bag filled with exciting goodies from Air France–KLM, Kibsons International, Mumzworld, Eurocake and the hotel.

The night was full of momentum and excitement as the children celebrated an early Christmas with Santa and the event partners who truly experienced the joy of giving. The Novotel & ibis World Trade Centre and ibis One Central hotels along with Air France-KLM were delighted to share their passion and love for the community this festive season, with their message, 'Together We Care'.

Zou Zou at La Mer, Dubai

After my recent visit to Gunaydin – which in my opinion is the best Turkish restaurant in Dubai, my expectations from any Turkish restaurants have risen to all time high. When I got invited from Zou Zou – the Turkish Lebanese restaurant at La Mer, I was all in for it, to try and compare. I visited Zou Zou last week with a very dear friend who is also a big foodie like me and a lover of all things Turkish. So needless to say, we went there with lots of expectations and a hungry tummy of course. I must mention that Zou Zou didn’t disappoint. First off I have to remark about the service. It was pleasant, warm and quick.
