Chinese Palace Restaurant at Burjuman Food court - A Review

Since opening its first banquet restaurant in Dubai's Al Ghurair Centre in 1980, Chinese Palace Restaurant has been widely known for its authentic Chinese cuisine and attentive service.

Over the years, they brought this dining experience into the fast food setting and let customers enjoy the food at convenient locations without any sacrifice in quality. Today Chinese Palace is present across 8 popular malls in Dubai and is extremely popular with shoppers for fast and enjoyable meals.

Whenever I am at any mall and need to get a quick dietary fix at the food court, Chinese Palace is my top choice as the taste and quality is consistent and they have interesting and filling combo meals that satisfy my hunger pangs.
I was there last week at Burjuman and decided to stop by at Chinese Palace at the food court for lunch. I was with a fried who also likes Chinese food.

To start off we ordered some hot and sour soup and mixed vegetable. The hot and sour soup disapointed. Nothing special about it. However the bowl of mixed vegetable was fresh, crunchy and good.

In Appetizers we had Chicken bun, crispy chicken wings and golden prawns. The chicken bun was steaming hot and soft. I loved the crispy chicken wings - they were soft and crispy. The golden prawns were bland and lacked texture however with some spicy dip, it tasted palatable.  We also ordered Szchuan chili chicken which was very delicious.

In the main course, I went for smart chicken combo while my dining partner went for beef. The chicken combo came with rice (you could also opt for chow mein), spring roll, cashew chicken and Manchurian chicken. The combo was overall good.

My friend chose beef combo which came with delicious beef and orange chicken. The service by supervisor Arra was good. The food was good and the value great. Highly recommend to try from this place when shopping at Burjuman.
