If good food to you is synonymous with great memories of wholesome cooking and traditional recipes that have been lovingly passed on and perfected, the newly-opened Eat Artisanal Bakery located in Bay Square, Business Bay is just the place for you. Developed as a subsidiary of Al Tamimi Investments, the café is the brainchild of General Manager Tamer Qeblawi whose passion for food stems from his mother who was an amazing home cook.


From the minute you step into the café with its warm wooden hints, pastel tones and white bricks, enjoy a cosy, inviting atmosphere. Be spoiled for choice as you choose from a tempting selection of flaky pasties, decadent galettes and an array of freshly baked warm treats displayed in the centre of the café. For those looking for a quick tasty bite to enjoy on the run or behind their desks, enjoy a daily choice of a light or creamy soup, served with artisanal bread or a filling sandwich. If you’ve got time on your hands and want to linger over a laidback, leisurely lunch savour specialities such as the baby chicken stuffed with freekeh, slow braised lamb shank served with garlic mash or vegetable lasagne.



Fancy yourself a bit of a java connoisseur? Indulge yourself with a thoughtfully curated selection from established homegrown brand RAW coffee. Kids are also well looked after with a customised menu featuring favourites such as mac and cheese bake, beef sliders and baked garlic parmesan chicken tenders. There’s also jarred food for toddlers such as avocado and banana puree and kiwi, apple and zucchini puree.

Swing by Eat Artisanal Bakery and show some love and let them treat you to their Coffee and Cake offering. On Sundays through Thursday, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, buy a cake or pastry and sip on a free coffee with their compliments.

Zou Zou at La Mer, Dubai

After my recent visit to Gunaydin – which in my opinion is the best Turkish restaurant in Dubai, my expectations from any Turkish restaurants have risen to all time high. When I got invited from Zou Zou – the Turkish Lebanese restaurant at La Mer, I was all in for it, to try and compare. I visited Zou Zou last week with a very dear friend who is also a big foodie like me and a lover of all things Turkish.
