The Meating Room
Meating Room is one place I had been meaning to visit for a very long time and incidentally we were invited for a bloggers meet. I was definitely excited because it would be my first proper bloggers meet after covid made us all go on quarantine.
Seven of us met up last friday to check out the new menu at the Meating room. Couple of us had already been there, but for me it was the first ever time to visit this famous award winning restaurant.
We had a very special bloggers menu for us. We started off with some coolers to chill down. I tried Mango Fizz and Kala Ghatta. Both were nice with a little twist of the Meating Room.
In starters we tried Creamy grilled broccoli. Po Tay To Po Tha To - a meat stuffed potato pattie. It was so soft and luscious. Then we had Chicken and Cheese Croquet which were also super soft and super tasty.
In BBQ which Meating room is famous for, we tried Psychedelic lamb chops - even the name was different from the usual and so was the taste - soft, tender and luscious. Then some of the other items we tried from the menu were Bihari Bhaiya- a melt in the mouth chicken boti kebab, then atomic prawns which were crunchy.
In the main course we had TMR meatpot which came in a matka. We thought it was biryani until the waitress opened it.. Mutton Kheema Dum was so delicious and so was comfort chicken which was a delectable butter chicken curry. The best bit was the slow cooked mutton grilled biryani which came with a huge piece of mutton in the centre.
We washed it down with gulab jamun cheese cake again another unique item to be found only in TMR.
Overall it was great food, great service and an amazing experience. Friday well spent.
Go for it. Highly recommended.
