Say “Sawadeeka” As Pai Thai ‘Rites A Fresh Friday Brunch Experience

Pai Thai, Dubai’s most authentic Thai restaurant at Jumeirah Al Qasr, is bringing back The Rite of Siam, its popular Friday brunch concept with an unparalleled dining experience and ambiance.

Curated by Pai Thai’s award-winning culinary team, The Rite of Siam is available every Friday from 12:30 – 4pm, delivering an authentic Thai food journey complemented with an extensive beverage selection and an ambient lounge atmosphere provided by a live DJ.

Brunch-goers can enjoy a true taste of Thailand without having to leave Dubai. For an authentic experience, The Rite of Siam journey starts with a scenic abra trip through the Madinat Jumeirah waterways to the venue, where guests are welcomed by a Thai gong and receive a traditional Thai lemongrass-infused hand sanitization ritual before being taken to their table to enjoy a welcome drink of Nuan, a Thai mixed beverage with homemade jasmine tea syrup.

The unhurried foodie experience allows guests to indulge in four courses of Pai Thai’s very best family sharing-style dishes, featuring much-loved signatures such as Sate Gai (grilled marinated chicken sate with turmeric peanut sauce); Som Tam Je (green papaya salad with cashew nut and tamarind dressing); Gaeng Khiew Wan Phak (green chicken curry with Thai eggplant and Thai basil); and Kao Niew Ma Muang (sweet sticky rice with ripe mango and coconut syrup), which will be prepared tableside, making for an Instagrammable culinary experience.

The Rite of Siam menu is available in a vegetarian or vegan version upon request. Brunch packages start at AED 245 for food and soft drinks; and AED 395 for food with a wide selection of house beverages, including sparkling.

Pai Thai has recently partnered up with Repeat, free app that rewards consumers for returning to their favourite restaurants sooner, with up to 30% off their total bill. The discount is based on a tiering system determined by frequency of visits, where customers who visit more often within a shorter period of time can avail a higher discount.

Zou Zou at La Mer, Dubai

After my recent visit to Gunaydin – which in my opinion is the best Turkish restaurant in Dubai, my expectations from any Turkish restaurants have risen to all time high. When I got invited from Zou Zou – the Turkish Lebanese restaurant at La Mer, I was all in for it, to try and compare. I visited Zou Zou last week with a very dear friend who is also a big foodie like me and a lover of all things Turkish. So needless to say, we went there with lots of expectations and a hungry tummy of course. I must mention that Zou Zou didn’t disappoint. First off I have to remark about the service. It was pleasant, warm and quick.
