The popular American cult burger brand is gearing up to mark the 244th American Independence Day by rolling out a sparkling display of red, white and blue with a limited edition CrazyShake® - a color feast that couldn’t be more patriotic to its New York roots.

Diners can enjoy the stars and stripes themed shake between July 3rd - 4th 2020, serving a glorious combination of flavors within a vanilla frosted rim and vanilla ice-cream. What’s more, it comes decadently topped with a red, white, and blue cake slice, whipped cream, sprinkles and a cherry.

With a limited number of shakes available per day, make sure you head down to Black Tap early to avoid disappointment and celebrate in true American style. Trust me, this will be worth it for the Instagram likes alone!

INFO: Black Tap’s Red, White and Blue Cake Shake will be available in limited quantities between July 3rd – 4th and is priced at AED 62 at its newest venue in Dubai Mall and at its Yas Mall’s Cascade Dining section in Abu Dhabi; elsewhere the shake is priced at AED 69 at Black Tap’s Jumeirah Al Naseem and Rixos Premium JBR venues.

Zou Zou at La Mer, Dubai

After my recent visit to Gunaydin – which in my opinion is the best Turkish restaurant in Dubai, my expectations from any Turkish restaurants have risen to all time high. When I got invited from Zou Zou – the Turkish Lebanese restaurant at La Mer, I was all in for it, to try and compare. I visited Zou Zou last week with a very dear friend who is also a big foodie like me and a lover of all things Turkish. So needless to say, we went there with lots of expectations and a hungry tummy of course. I must mention that Zou Zou didn’t disappoint. First off I have to remark about the service. It was pleasant, warm and quick. I was met by Latif Kural the friendly operations manager who has played a role in the setting up several reputed Turkish restaurants in the Dubai.  He is a fine guy with a very pleasant disposition who ensured we felt 'at home'.
