Memsaab food - Indian food at its best

Memsaab Food is a fabulous indian restaurant serving very delectable contemporary Indian Cuisine. The food is inspired from recipes passed down from generations of the finest chefs of India. The cuisine of Memsaab reflects a diversity of taste and culture of South Asia.


They offer a Lavish spread of authentic dishes ranging from tempting appetizers to delicious desserts in a very simple and laid back setting. I visited on Friday with a good friend who is also happens to be a big lover of Biryani. I was told the Biryani at Memsaab food is one of the best in town so I took her there.

We started off with Lemon mint which was refreshing and chilled us down on a sultry summer noon.

In starters we commenced with Murgh Kali Mirch and Chicken Malai tikka. Both of them looked similar in appearance but different. While the Kali mirch was slightly flavorful and spicy, the malai tikka was juicy and creamy. I must say that the quality and taste of these appetizers were remarkable. It blew off our socks off. Literally. 


Based on another friends suggestion we ordered their butter chicken, which again was a killer curry which impressed like never before. 

In the mains I went for Mutton Biryani while my dining companion went for Chicken biryani. Both the biryanis tasted remarkable. The quantity was very good and quite sufficient for even two to share. We even got that on a takeaway since we didnt want to throw away such good biryani. 

Overall the experience was good and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves to try indian food at its best.

Zou Zou at La Mer, Dubai

After my recent visit to Gunaydin – which in my opinion is the best Turkish restaurant in Dubai, my expectations from any Turkish restaurants have risen to all time high. When I got invited from Zou Zou – the Turkish Lebanese restaurant at La Mer, I was all in for it, to try and compare. I visited Zou Zou last week with a very dear friend who is also a big foodie like me and a lover of all things Turkish.
