Explore tantalizing tastes at Back to Grills Dubai

I recently had an opportunity to visit Back to Grills with blogger Suren Rajamohan and I am thankful to him for introducing me to a wonderful place where food, love and awesomeness in service go hand in hand.

We were greeted by the Executive Chef and partner Anish who steps out of kitchen whenever he can to mingle and interact with the guests.  We were offered Banana Berry and Mango passion smoothie - two extremely delightful drinks that helped us cool down on a sultry Friday afternoon.  The taste was just right and this considering the fact that all their smoothies are natural and no sugar is added at all. It just gave a very subtle but refreshing taste of natural fruits.

We went on to try the appetizers and salads. We first tried Melon and Feta salad which was an equally refreshing dish with fresh watermelon and feta cheese. I couldn't just stop munching the fresh watermelon as it kind of helped re hydrating after a tiring walk in the afternoon sun, from where we parked our car.  We also tried their peri peri salsa fries which were tantalizing. The spiced fries was made rich with cheese sauce and salsa for that palette tickling taste.

For the main course I went for Spit roast chicken on the recommendations of George - and can it go wrong?! His personal favorite soon became my favourite too. It was lit!

What is so special about this dish is that it is roasted with their secret spices and recipe making it so unique and different from the usual roasted chicken you find anywhere else. The chicken was cooked to perfection with the right rub of their signature spices and garnished with cilantro and served with delicious potato wedges and indian bread on side.  The sauces served were very flavorsome too!

I also tried their Portofino Seared Prawns served with portofino sauce, herb grilled veggies and olive potato mash. 6 pieces of tongue tantalizing seared prawns soaked in flavor packed Portofino sauce and sided by equally tantalizing grilled veggies made for a perfect main course.

The dining experience wouldn't be complete without trying out their desserts. We were quite sure that their desserts were equally tempting as the rest of the food we tried there.  We tried grilled peach melba which was a charcoal grilled concoction of peach, raspberry compote and creamy icecream. We also tried the Tangerine Baked Yoghurt. Glazed with orange this oven baked zesty yoghurt is a must try if you are ever visiting Back To Grills.

It was over all a perfect weekend spent and I am extremely grateful to Anu, George and Anish for taking time off their busy weekend chores to spend time with us and understand our work and tastes and also enlighten us about their food, brand ethos and very culture of Back to Grill.

Back to grill is definitely an interesting new comer in the grilled meat segment. They have an eclectic mix of some fabulous fare inspired from all corners of the globe and the taste, freshness, quality and value for money make them a class apart and one of my new favorite grill houses in Dubai.

I am definitely going there again and recommend that you must go, too! The fare won't disappointand if you are lucky enough to catch George or Anu, you'll surely end up having hearty conversations over lip smacking fare. After the dining indulgence - you ll leave with few new friends gained or must I say family? No exaggeration!! This is precisely the feeling we experienced there in those few hours of spending time with team of Back To Grills.

In this highly commercialized restaurant business in Dubai, here are few loving souls who genuinely care about the guest experience and happiness.

5/5 for taste, quality, service and attitude.
