Crafting fine indian food- Masala Craft
This 18 year old indian restaurant at Century village is Century villages only Indian restaurant and a cut about the rest. Offering a gorgeous alfresco milieu, this licensed restaurant serves one of the most delicious indian food in the century village. I was here for a brunch recently and I had a good time.
At only 75 Masala crafts brunch could well be the cheapest and best brunch in Dubai and I personally dont know of any restaurant in Dubai that serves such good brunch at such a reasonable rate of 75. We started off with some pani puri shots and a platter of veg and non veg appetizers which included malai paneer, onion bhajji, mutton kebab, achari murgh, shammi kebab etc. The appetizers were top notch and tasted spot on. These were unlimited and it was so delicious that i had a second serving of it. It was served to our table without having to hazzle ourself to go and self serve.
The waiters were extremely friendly and kept a watch over our tables. They had 4 main dishes in non veg and 4 for pure vegetarians. They had lucknowi biryani one of my favourite, mutton masala, chicken curry, fish curry, panner tikka, dal makhani and even paneer biryani for vegetarians.
The biryani was flavour packed and kick-ass and all their curries tasted extremely good with the right flavour, masala and punch.. NO wonder they are called the Masala Craft. They know how to craft their masalas like art. Its an art that only very few indian restaurants have mastered.
In desserts we finished it off with gulab jamun, kulfi, rabdi and brownie.. All stand out particularly the gulab jamun was the best ever i tasted in Dubai.
I think this is really a good deal for 75 dirhams as diners can consume as much food as they want in this amount.
