Today at a casual weekend catch up at a friends at al barsha we ended up having a drinkathon and some two hours down the adventure, felt bit hungry.  At least a couple of us wanted to have something spicy (considering the cold and lovely weather). Usually during such meetups, our usual choice is wings or some fast food.

On the suggestion of a foodie friend i opened zomato and looked for the best options around the area. Reading a few nice reviews there and having already heard a lot about Desi Wings we decided to order from there today.  Few minutes later, we ended up ordering two dozens of them.

At only AED 95 we got a wonderful assortment of four mind blowing flavours that highly appealed to our palates - we being Indian. Some of the flavours we chose are Malai Cheese garlic wings, Adraki Soy chili wings, smoked biryani spiced wings and Achayens pepper wings. 

First off i must note that the delivery reached us very quick, packaging was simple and neat and the food warm.

Opening the packs stimulated an eating frenzy as the flavours and aroma was simply irresistible. The malai just melted in the mouth and the slight hint of lime was so spot on. This was hands down my favourite followed by the Adraki or ginger flavoured wings which was a collusion of mind blowing flavours that felt bliss on every bite. Before we could imagine, it was all gone. 

I was lucky to try all the flavours including Achayens pepper wings which had a very strong malabari touch in terms of flavours and spice levels. Smoked Biryani wings were equally awesome.
The best part is that the prices are so reasonable. The wings are large in size and very filling and thankfully these wings are baked not fried so taste is on another level and we could eat without any guilt. And knowing that it is a brand from the popular Back to Grills stable which already has set a niche in the Oud Medha area stole the deal for us. 

Simply put, Desi wings has stolen our heart today and it would definitely be our most preferred place of choice for wings in Dubai. If you are looking for some mind blowing flavours like never tried before, then i strongly recommend you try ordering from here. You would never have to look anywhere else after as this is the one stop solution for all your wingy fantasies. Zou Zou at La Mer, Dubai

After my recent visit to Gunaydin – which in my opinion is the best Turkish restaurant in Dubai, my expectations from any Turkish restaurants have risen to all time high. When I got invited from Zou Zou – the Turkish Lebanese restaurant at La Mer, I was all in for it, to try and compare. I visited Zou Zou last week with a very dear friend who is also a big foodie like me and a lover of all things Turkish.
