Snunu - Exceptionally good food in a ridiculously simple miliue

Named after a bird, Snunu a mid eastern restaurant based in cluster q of JLT is not really what it seems to be. Yes, a ridiculously simply restaurant with seating for about twenty people with nothing particularly interesting about its interiors or milieu served one of the best seafood, lambchops and chicken i ever tried recently.

A catch up with some friendly bloggers over dinner, Snunu turned out to be a perfect location for serious lovers of food to meet, relish and chat.



We started with some fizzy drink from Russia called Natakhatati. It was quite different from anything we tried before. Then we indulged in fresh Seabass & Tilapia - both prepared so well - delicious, very well cooked and sliding of the bones.


Lamp chops - this really took me by surprise. It was one of the most delicious, succulent, juicy and tasty lamb chops i ever tried.  Then we tried two special chicken spicy & normal with their home made flat bread.

It was over all a very lovely experience. The service was very fast and efficient and the food just kept coming on time without any delays.

Zou Zou at La Mer, Dubai

After my recent visit to Gunaydin – which in my opinion is the best Turkish restaurant in Dubai, my expectations from any Turkish restaurants have risen to all time high. When I got invited from Zou Zou – the Turkish Lebanese restaurant at La Mer, I was all in for it, to try and compare. I visited Zou Zou last week with a very dear friend who is also a big foodie like me and a lover of all things Turkish. So needless to say, we went there with lots of expectations and a hungry tummy of course. I must mention that Zou Zou didn’t disappoint. First off I have to remark about the service. It was pleasant, warm and quick.
