Founded in Kingston, Canada in 1995, Pita Pit is a healthy alternative to eating, specializing in delicious pita sandwiches, salads, snacks & award-winning beverages. The brand has successfully been in operation since the last 24 years and launched their UAE outlet in 2016.

Pita Pit is a special way to eat fresh, as you can customize your Pita and salads within a large choice of meats, poultry, vegetables, sauces, and spices. The meat is grilled in front of the coustomers eyes, and that is why you can guarantee that it is fresh … The brands core focus is to help create a world where people can enjoy healthy AND delicious food in a fast and casual environment. 

I was fortunate to recently order from this place. We were a group of 5 at a friends house in Motor City and decided to order from their delivery only dark kitchen here.  I must note that the salads and wraps were fantastic. 

Pita it is all about eating healthy food and feeling less guilty about it. Pita pit is a part of a global franchise with 700 outlets across the world and in Dubai they have 2 outlets – one in Media city and the other in Business Bay and a delivery concept in Motor City. The restaurant is named Pita pit because everything seems to revolve around the Pita bread and they infact even have Pita crisps that come with an option of 3 dips including Halloumi and guacamole. It costs only 6 dhs with the dip.

We also ordered their healthy wraps which was akin to having a fruity blast in the mouth. The wraps were as delicious as the salads. 

In desserts we had Bonbons – small doughnut sans the hole and it came in three flavours Choco, Caramel and mixed fruit. Less on sugar and great dessert to finish it off.

This place is highly recommended for delicious and healthy wraps, salads and smoothies. Do order from Motor City

Zou Zou at La Mer, Dubai

After my recent visit to Gunaydin – which in my opinion is the best Turkish restaurant in Dubai, my expectations from any Turkish restaurants have risen to all time high. When I got invited from Zou Zou – the Turkish Lebanese restaurant at La Mer, I was all in for it, to try and compare. I visited Zou Zou last week with a very dear friend who is also a big foodie like me and a lover of all things Turkish. So needless to say, we went there with lots of expectations and a hungry tummy of course. I must mention that Zou Zou didn’t disappoint. First off I have to remark about the service. It was pleasant, warm and quick.
