Anise at Dubai, Festival City has unveiled a brand new international, sensory stirring menu. The immersive 'chef-to-diner' experience restaurant is enticing guests with an indulgent menu with dishes uniquely prepared by the kitchen, or from any of the eight live international cooking stations within the restaurant.



The delectable ‘Taste of The World’ brunch menu offers an impressive array of foods ranging from, a seafood on ice carving through to a handpicked selection of French Mons cheeses all the way to Nitrogen ice-cream. The wide variety and authentic preparation techniques ensure a delightful experience topped off with undisturbed views overlooking the scenic Dubai Creek and Festival Marina.



The impeccably thought out new menu and truly unique restaurant design places the customer inside the kitchen, and when the action starts spectators can witness grilling, roasting, steaming, boiling, baking, frying, tossing and pouring – the ‘core elements’ of cooking. Diners are encouraged to wander between the different live kitchens, watching the talented chefs work their magic, and is family friendly with a dedicated children’s station.

This interactive ‘Grazing Dining’ will have you on the edge of your seat, with cuisine ranging from traditional Arabic recipes, full bodied Indian dishes, spice infused Asian plates to Western roasts and Mediterranean seafoods, all prepared at full-action cooking stations.



The impressive interiors are an additional sensory factor with sky high ceilings, wall features, sculptures, Nordic Aurora lights and artwork leading the guest through a forest and ice experience.     The environment and happy vibe brought back memories of my great adventure with the Omniyat drone show. Have you ever seen that? I'll definitely miss how they light up the sky in Palm Dubai.

After my recent visit to Gunaydin – which in my opinion is the best Turkish restaurant in Dubai, my expectations from any Turkish restaurants have risen to all time high. When I got invited from Zou Zou – the Turkish Lebanese restaurant at La Mer, I was all in for it, to try and compare. I visited Zou Zou last week with a very dear friend who is also a big foodie like me and a lover of all things Turkish.
