Bombay Brasserie, An Awesome Gastronomic Feast

Lip-smacking food. Awe-inspiring ambience. Impeccable service. These are some of the fine attributes that define, and at the same time set apart Bombay Brasserie from others. Little wonder that this Dubai Gem continues to remain in the top league from among 8000 restaurants in Dubai.

The Ambiance

Bombay Brasserie is by far one of the best Indian restaurant I’ve been to in recent times. Last week on a special invitation from the Taiwan Tourism Bureau, I joined an elite gathering of the select media practitioners from top Dubai publications.

First off, the venue completely bowled us over. May be it is the subtle and romantic lighting, maybe it’s the impressive collection of house pours on display or may be it is even the fantastic view from the windows. Whatever it was, it certainly set the tone for the evening.

The servers were a joyful and attentive bunch who ensured they were there to attend to every ones beck and call but at the same time offering the privacy that a private party so needs.

The spread was amazing.

Main Course

Chicken Kadai : One of the best I’ve tasted in town. Creamy, less spicy, tender pieces, lip smacking! This was my most favourite dish on the menu.

Dal Makhani :  Again one of the really good Dal Makhani i've tasted in any restaurant in the UAE.

Palak Panner : Though not a big fan of Palak Paneer, I liked it here and did enjoy every serving I took.

Butter Naan: One could literally feel the buttery sensation and be blown over by the smell of delicious butter naan.

Roti: Crispy and tasty.

Desserts:

Rasmalai : Certainly divine. Tasted so close to the paneer ka kheer that my significant other prepares. I was so impressed that I got the staff to have this for me for take away. The waiter was kind enough to have a generous portion packed for me to take away.

Last but not the least, he kingfisher beer, one of my favourite beers from India, was served here. I have tried searching for this sweet indian treat in several bars but in vain. Finally happy to have gulped some here.

Rating:
Food : 5/5 ( Every single thing that we consumed was remarkable in taste, with nothing to complain about)

Service: 5/5 ( Waiter Sandeep was really amazing and waiters like him are an asset for any property

Ambience: 5/5 ( Again, the setting was awesome for a private party and the guys have just the perfect seating arrangements for different purposes and an open kitchen concept which is amazing.

The Restaurant Manager:

Met the manager Sachin Hassan who was a delightful young man who added a final layer of icing to the cake by his witty remarks, warmth and kindness. Under proactive and efficient managers like him, the restaurant is sure to touch the stars!

This was my first time at Bombay Brasserie, but I am sure it is NOT the last!

Keep the awesome work you are doing, guys!
